CITY ORDINANCE #85 REGARDING MUFFLER BAN AT MAKATI CITY IS ONCE AGAIN IMPLEMENTED!
Badtrip! Bad day and bad luck for Friday 13th for me at makati city because while I was cruising along buendia blvd. I was Flagged down by a police officer and some MAPSA officials, they asked for my license and registration and after the usual routine, the police officer told me that I have a offense regarding the use of muffler! I was struck cold because I already knew that this city ordinance was removed, after apologizing to my ignorance, I ask them when did this city ordinance was implemented again and to my surprise, the MAPSA officer and the policeman cannot answer my question and instead got mad at me for asking too much! WHAHAHAHAHA! talk about bad luck... after some minutes of arguing, the MAPSA official told me that I can get my LICENSE back at around 2pm for a fine of 300php... I then remembered that a driver who was caught on violation should wait for at least 5 days before he/she can get his license back,right?
so I just taught that this is another scam for this officers to make some cash, corruption once again! hehehe
so by 2pm I went to their office and got my license back! all that for a day!
di ko alam kung paraan lang yun para mangurakot or talagang naka batas na ulit ung muffler ban pero nung nasa opisina na nila ako nakita ko na nakalista na ulit ung city ordinance na un... INGAT NA LANG ULIT SIGURO TAYO! BADTRIP NANAMAN!
