its more of the other way around. mio sporty cdi to sniper. the stock carb with throttle position sensor wont be able to work with the mio cdi. sa race bikes ko the mio cdi wiring offers more simplicity since I am using an open carb.

as far as the power supply to the cdi since we use total loss system we use an 18v battery pack from a cordless impact wrench. the 12 volt battery is for the radiator fan and/or electrical water pump.

yes! the cdi volt stabilizer sold by kitti passes 17 plus volts to the cdi. so an 18v battery pack works just fine.
