based on my experience Sir, this could as well make your valve blunt fast. open carb, loose valve guide, not flat valve spring from end to end, not seated properly , too stiff V.S. that's just my observation Sir, lets wait for masters' help.

are you on RCDI Sir? if yes, it's a must to put some stiffer valve there. in/out.

if not yet Sir, then there is no need to replace to stiffer valve spring since as far a i know the only purpose or RCDI is to increase your RPM limit. With stock CDI your RPM will be restricted to a safe capability of your valve spring.

that is the tapet screw of the Honda cb110 inserted from below on the stock rocker arm of sniper. more surface area to contact valve tip[/QUOTE]

the tapet screw of the Honda cb110 is easier to find and much cheaper. compared to the mx king which takes at least a minimum of three months to order. I think Yamaha made changes to tapet screw design with mx king since it was becoming a common problem of the old design..mushroom valve tip

I have used shims from the Suzuki raider and even used their valve retainer. but I had incidences were the shim jumped out (you have to be meticulous with your valve clearance). you have to sand the shim to its thinnest so its deep within the retainer. the valve tip to valve lock distance is much wider for the sniper. be cautious of this if you want to go shim.:coffee::eek:
