always be careful in handling our MC's electrical system, because it really hurts when burning of wire happens. Even a 5amp 12volts stock battery can burn your whole motorcycle in just 1 wrong move... :(

Sires need help w/ my yamaha x1r.
Ayaw nya umistart. Both kick & push start.
Does anyone have any idea on this.
    Need for your immediate help.
    Thanks.

thanks sir boldstardex. what if i replace my brt rcdi with my stock cdi then its still the same, whats the possible other problems? and may i just add another question sir, whats the possible indication and reason of a busted rcdi? tia.

try to check your red lamp..

the CDI also got a mechanism to check whether those two sensors still working and not. If you turn on electricity... the heat red lamp will blink for a while, indicating that CDI read initial value from TS and TPS... if TPS broken, the heat red lamp will blink five times afterwhile and if TS broken, the heat red lamp will blink three times. If those two sensors broken, it will blink five times - pause - and blink again three times

    possible reason for busted cdi:

    -product defect
-water got inside the cdi (due to rain or super kaduper carwash):p

sir when i turn on the ignition key, the heat red lamp does not open anymore and the radiator fan also.
per some mechanics that i have asked, if we are using racing cdi, the fan automatically opens everytime the key ignition is turned on.

the only cdi that i know that automaticaly turns on the fan FOR 5 SEC. is the rextor cdi, brt (which im using for more than a year) and other racing cdi does not automaticaly turn the fan.Just try inserting first your stock cdi now!as in now na!:shag:

to check if your cdi is damaged, try to install it in another sniper.
my rextor cdi is working more since 2007

as boldstardex said, failures of cdi is caused by water penetration due to high pressure washer
and some other electrical problems which damage the electronics gadgets like the cdi.
btw be careful in buying rextor/brt cdi now, there are imitations coming out.
