i think this ratio is not so good:oops:
-sorry for that but to think its just like adjusting your sprocket combination to a low speed.

is that so sir?it means that there will be no improvement in our bike?

-improvement in speed there is, but gust like i have said is just a low speed set-up powerful takeoff but no such top end.

-this is good in big tire no need to adjust your sprocket combination.;)

    pointers:

the clutch gear fits on old snipee..
    need hi speed combination sprocket..
gears need to be set so you'll hear sound on idle mode
it runs better i think on big bore

    :D:D:D[/quote]

improving the OVERALL performance of our snipers is not dependent on one part alone. its always THE SUM OF ITS PARTS. installing the low speed primary gear TOGETHER with a good transmission ratio will give you gains in performance on your intended purpose. like what chie said, it will produce a better low end (that i need in drag), not much top end. depends on distance traveled. in drag you want your motorcycle quick of the block then reaches 4th gear at the finish, there you manipulate transmission ratio (there are alot of ratios coming out). thats why up to now i am still searching for the ratios i need. is this primary gear good for long rides (often asked) personally i will install it in my daily driver but i will still manipulate the transmission suitable for touring still using the benefit of the increased torque due to low speed ratio this ikk primary gear provides. i am not after top speed always but a balance in the power of the motorcycle.

you will see residue of the gear when you change oil just like changing 4th gear on your tranny
