ikk primary gear ratio 22/72

    i didn't install mine b'coz we test to other bike and some of my IKK Clutch gear is pre-order :D

    i have a new bike,i want to try a new approach,instead of using a bigger bore,i'm planning to use this drive gear..my question is,do i still need to change the 4th gear to 21t ???if i install this IKK drive gear to these specs:

    stock bore 54mm
    stock ported head
    cms valve spring and camshaft
    brt cdi
    28mm keihin carb
    crg clutch spring

    just an update on the 15/34 combination top speed almost 140km/h
    unlike 16/36in can go 140km/h or more on long distance... tnx :D i think it runs better in nearest ratio of 16/36 maybe 15/32

    ah thanks sir...hehehe i'll try also the same settings as yours when i start to upgrade the engine of my other bike..hopefully this march when i arrive..

    yeah will do sir...just for experimentation,and trying to do a different approach instead of using a bigger bore cause i've been using 62mm with stroker pin and bigger valves on my other bike but stock gears and drive gear,but on the other bike i will try to use stock bore and stock ported head but replaced tranny and drive gear,,hope i will not use a 16T front sprocket :D

    overall improved torque and comprable top end than previous
    15/33 for small rider
    16/36 works for me 86kg

    stock tranny?or still the mtrt 21t 4th gear?180 before..if it improved..it's 190 now?grrrrrrrr

    how were you able to fit a 16T engine sprocket in such a small space using a 428 chain???

    old edition snipee has lesser clearance doc
    new edition even 428 16t size will fit no problem at all
    i have 2 sets of 420 chain, and 2 set of 428 chain
    i have 1 (16t 420) and 16t(428) sizes
    jst for testing this drive gear whew.

    2006 -2007 i think pls correct me if im wrong based with my fellow bro here they have prob also hitting slightly on crank
    and one thing also the ikk drive and clutch gear aasembly is fitted directly.like urs narrow lining

    i have to convert mine , still using same clutch basket but with ikk 72t
    mine is 2009 and also with 2010 model we dont have prob doc putting 16t (428 size)

    i jst remember traxx having 16/42 on his ate v now . maybe he can can comment on how does he manage using 428 (16t)

    i guess mine is old edition because i dont think a 428 will fit with the 16T engine. dats why i am thinking of just using the 15T engine and use a honda rear hub and sprocket so i can use rear sprockets 30T or lower.

    so do I. with rear sprocket hehehe u cant find easily 33t. of course machine shop makes lot of money on me already
