I think it's not about w/c to use with front and rear brake, it is how you use those two to give your bike efficiency and yourself a defense on the worst-case-scenario a rider might experience. IMHO
I always use my front brakes most of the time, and when coming from a high speed run to a full stop I use my engine brake along side with my rear brakes then apply front brakes before coming to a stop if the road condition is okay and its a straight road. And for emergency stops I apply both front and rear brakes but not to the point of locking them.
While on top speed mode and assuming there's a sudden traffic ahead , I simply gonna used my rear brake in a "tapik-tapik" mode slight braking kumbaga and while maybe 2 motorcyle distance against the subject, gonna use my front brake tapik-tapik style then hold- its magnet as in magnet
