Nope. Still quite baffled as to why did such a thing happened.. Many of the T135s that had bent valves are fully stock machines. Just happened without warning, neither is the engine highly stressed when it happened.

Will update if we can find the slightest clue. Cheers

That's one of the prime suspect. But some sh!t did happened to bikes with stock CDI (with rev limiter) too.

    Cheers

Is it serious if you buckle up your valves and what effects will happen?

will changing the valve spring with a higher spring rate will avoid valve stamping and what are the negative side effects by performing this without changing other parts? thx

your valve may be broken if spring coefficient changes... FYI, valve clearance is set every 9000 km, I have done it twice on my 17xyz kms bike

is it true that we need to set valve clearance at 6000km ?

what will happen if you will not reset it at that mileage?

9000km, if not, your mileage become worst, engine begin to sound noisely, and you can't run the engine any smoother or faster, in the end if your cam chain loosen, the worst case is you'll break your valve cause misstiming of valve opening and closing

valve clearance is the space or clearance of your engine valve.
as time/usage goes by, it changes the valve clearance...

sound of your motorcycle will also change due to change in valve clearance.

IT IS A MUST TO ADJUST THE VALVE CLEARANCE OF YOUR T135
IN 6000KM ODOMETER AS PER ADVISED BY YAMAHA

it states in your motorcycle manual maintenance schedule
