Sir, base on the drawing on the air flow, woudn't it be better to remove the whole choke holder? So there will be no intervention with the air flow?

    IMHO,

from stock engine, changing carb. means we need a more fuel and more air, and a good SP but imagine the stock intake and exhaust stem valve, and the manifold between head and carb. the inner diameter does not change means the air velocity and air volume entered in combustion chamber still the same, then why we need to upgrade for bigger carb if we're still in stock mode? what i mean is stick with our stock and focus on head work first, our engine is 4t not 2t in 4t we have cam and valves means we have a duration for opening and closing of this 4 valve unlike 2t only reed valve, that's why the 2T engine produce more rpm than 4T even the 2T engine has smaller capacity, i'm gonna touch my carb if i change my 4 valves to bigger size, if re-jetting and spark plug color checked does not work well then that's the time for bigger carb. just a cents of noob idea...

please feel free to enlightened me ...
